Post-wise Eligibility Criteria and Details for IGNCA Delhi

1. Consultant (Bihar Project)

  • Age Limit: Up to 65 years
  • Educational Qualification: Post Graduation in any discipline; preference for BA LLB.
  • Experience: 20 years in government administration, 10 years in museum operations, experience in project execution, liaisoning, handling contracts, and knowledge of GFR.

2. Project Manager (Conservation)

  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years
  • Educational Qualification: Post Graduation in Fine Arts, Conservation, Chemistry, or Heritage Management.
  • Experience: 5 years in conservation of wooden objects, wall paintings, manuscripts, books, paintings, and taxidermy.
  • Desirable: Relocation of ancient sculptures, conservation training, and architectural experience.

3. Project Manager (Special Project Cell)

  • Age Limit: 35-40 years
  • Educational Qualification: Post Graduate in Art History, Architecture, Heritage Management, Mass Communication, or allied fields.
  • Experience: 10 years in project management, media outreach.
  • Desirable: Skills in proposal writing, content development, communication skills in English and Hindi.

4. Project Coordinator

  • Age Limit: Up to 45 years
  • Educational Qualification: Post Graduate in Art, Chemistry, Heritage Management, or Conservation.
  • Experience: 2 years in conservation of wall paintings, manuscripts, books.
  • Desirable: Successful conservation project implementation and museum object re-organization.

5. Consultant (Project Monitoring & Implementation)

  • Age Limit: 60-67 years
  • Educational Qualification: MBA or equivalent with at least 55% marks.
  • Experience: 20 years in leadership roles such as HOD or Director.
  • Desirable: PhD in Management, proficiency in German or French, project management skills.

6. Conservation Scientist

  • Age Limit: Up to 35 years
  • Educational Qualification: Master’s in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry.
  • Experience: Five years of research experience in heritage conservation or a PhD (or thesis submitted).
  • Desirable: Published research papers, experience with XRF, XRD, FTIR, Raman, and optical microscopy.
