The Indian Institute of Information Technology Design and Manufacturing Kurnool (IIITDM Kurnool), a government-funded engineering college under the Ministry of Education, has announced its Faculty Recruitment 2025. The institute is looking to hire qualified candidates for teaching jobs in different departments. The online application process started on April 19, 2025, and the last date to apply is May 9, 2025. This recruitment is for faculty positions in the departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), and Sciences and Humanities. The positions available are for Assistant Professor (Grade I & II), Associate Professor, and Professor. A total of 14 posts are open: 5 for Professors, 5 for Associate Professors, and 4 for Assistant Professors. The category-wise breakup includes 9 for General, 3 for OBC, and 2 for SC candidates.
To apply, candidates must have a PhD degree in the relevant subject along with first class marks in both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degrees. For Assistant Professor positions, fresh PhD holders with good research papers can apply. Some grades also require experience, patents, or ongoing research work. Associate Professor and Professor positions need several years of teaching or industry experience, more research papers, PhD guidance, and funded research projects.
IIITDM Kurnool is especially looking for candidates with knowledge in modern fields like Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Robotics, VLSI Design, Medical Physics, and English Language Teaching, among others.
The selection process will include three parts:
- A teaching demo, where the candidate will teach a topic using a chalkboard.
- A research presentation, where they will explain their research work using slides.
- A personal interview with a selection panel.

Applicants must apply online and upload their CV, teaching and research plan, and three best research papers in PDF format. If you are applying for more than one post, you must submit separate applications for each. The application fee is ₹500 and must be paid online through SBI Collect. However, the fee is waived for SC, ST, PwD, and Women candidates. Applicants from outside India can use international banking to pay the fee.
Faculty members selected through this recruitment will receive several benefits. These include a Professional Development Allowance of ₹3 lakh for conferences and research work, a seed grant of ₹15 lakh for new research, medical and education reimbursements, travel allowance, and pension under the NPS scheme.
