CSIR IITR Answer Key 2025: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (CSIR-IITR), Lucknow, has officially released the tentative answer key for the Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) Recruitment Exam 2025.
Candidates who appeared for the written examination held on April 27, 2025 (Sunday) can now download the answer key from the official website.
Overview of the CSIR IITR JSA Exam 2025
The recruitment drive, advertised under Advt. No. IITR/1/2025, aims to fill 10 posts of Junior Secretariat Assistant across three categories – General, Finance & Accounts (F&A), and Store & Purchase (S&P). The written examination was conducted at various centers in an OMR-based format, comprising two papers:
- Paper I: Mental Ability Test
- Paper II: General Awareness and English Language
The total duration of the exam was 2 hours and 30 minutes.

CSIR IITR Tentative Answer Key 2025 Out
CSIR-IITR has released the tentative answer keys for all sets (A, B, C, D) for both papers. These keys provide the correct responses to all 200 questions (100 in each paper) and help candidates evaluate their performance ahead of the final result declaration.
Candidates can access the answer key by visiting the official recruitment section of the CSIR-IITR website. Each question paper set (A, B, C, D) has its own distinct answer key, covering both the Mental Ability Test and the General Awareness/English Language section.
Raise Objections Through Official Portal
Candidates who find discrepancies or have valid objections regarding any of the answers in the tentative key can raise their concerns through the Objection Management System. Here’s how to submit an objection:
- Visit the official website
- Log in using your Roll Number and Application ID.
- Select your Question Booklet Set (A/B/C/D).
- Identify the specific question number and provide a justified explanation or reference supporting your objection.
- Pay the objection fee of ₹100 per question via the portal.
- Enter the payment reference number and click on ‘Submit Objection’.

Important Note on Objection Deadline
The window for submitting objections is strictly limited. Candidates must submit their objections by 05:30 PM on May 3, 2025. No objections will be entertained after this deadline. Moreover, any objections sent via email, post, or other channels will not be considered under any circumstances.
The objection fee of ₹100 per question is non-refundable, irrespective of whether the objection is accepted or rejected.
