How Are NTA Scores Calculated?
NTA uses a percentile-based normalization system, especially important as the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. The percentile score reflects relative performance, not the absolute marks.
Formula:
Percentile Score = 100 × (Number of candidates who scored equal to or less than the candidate) / Total candidates in the session
So, even if two candidates score the same raw marks, their percentiles might differ based on session performance.
